The Node Network is deterministic by construction. Each 5-minute window's signal is derived from a SHA-256 seed that anyone can recompute and verify against the Polymarket order book.
Three pieces make every window's result impossible to manipulate after the fact. If one breaks, the audit breaks — visible to anyone.
1. We seal first
Every UTC hour, five minutes before the next 12 windows open, we publish on Polygon a cryptographic fingerprint summarizing the 48 signals about to be evaluated.
2. Impossible to rewrite
Once sealed, that fingerprint lives forever on-chain. Changing any signal afterwards would break the match — and the seal is already fixed.
3. You verify
When a window closes, you recompute the fingerprint locally and compare it with the one on-chain. It matches or it doesn't, no interpretation needed.
Anchored on two chains: Polygon + Bitcoin
Every hourly seal is also submitted to Bitcoin via OpenTimestamps. Polygon is fast (seconds). Bitcoin takes hours but is the strongest anchor in existence. Rewriting the past would require compromising both.
